There’s also qping, tping and rping, but they are not implementing ping functionality, but are tools for checking the status of specific remote services.

  apt-file search --regexp 'bin/.ping'

If I extend it to

  apt-file search --regexp 'bin/[^/]*ping$'

I also find:
