If you think about it you can probably come up with 10 points that you can use over and over again in different situations. Write them down, then do a second draft and then a third. Memorize them and then start using them during conversation. Your presentation and flow will improve when you are not searching for one word out of a possible four different languages.
Do it, take the startup job. No downside. If it all goes tits up you will now have lead technology operations on your resume so your next corporate job will be a jump up.
boycott it, don't pay attention to it. Don't watch it, read it, delete facebook and even twitter. There is zero need for it. The important stuff will bubble up and be more prominent. I haven't looked at a news site in over two years and I've never been more informed about real issues.
Meditate each morning and afternoon. That will help an immeasurable amount. Headspace is a good app for that but I prefer TM. Also, take a hit or two of weed then netflix and chill. The weed won't give you a hangover like booze does and you'll be super productive with energy the next morning after you meditate.
