This is a complex set of constraints, and people in Arizona, Nevada and Colorado etc have different perspectives on this. In my mind Lakes Powell/ Mead running low is somehow congruent to the /ZB Treasury futures contract (30 year) running lower, somehow there's a common economic invariant lurking in there.

The somewhat brighter bullet points: Northern California reservoirs are doing prety well, and the Bureau of Reclamatn can again kick the can by draining Flaming Gorge but i think this only works every few years:

been awhile sincei looked but i thought Drysdale's Effective Rust was a truly excellent book and aimed at simlar audience

Not bad, curious about price, but as noted by others in thread, the only really special thing are the keycaps, given those you could replicate functionality on any ZMK/QMK keyboard. I might try this as a layer of a glove 80 or ZSA voyager, s.t. like that

here's 2 oft cited papers on PFOF so people can think about this, general conclusions are there is more possibility of actions detrimental to retail traders in options markets

Interesting, how did you choose APL?

i worked in APL2 fulltime years ago, big asset backed bond models, big as in some of the largest workspaces the IBM support people had ever seen. Never occurred to me to pick it up again, but i have been looking for the Polivka/Pakin book i learned out of (the edition prior to their APL2 edition).

I came to APL slowly, originally motivated by some combination of fascination with the syntax and desire to break into the financial sector.

However, what got me to invest in earnest study was hitting today beginner's wall and realizing that I had no idea what Iverson was on about with his design principles.

APL is really different these days, as far as I hear. Dyalog APL is the only vendor actively working on the language these days, and the old hats tell me that things like dfns, trains, and various operators make modern APL quite different from APL even just 15 years ago.

reddit thread w/sources seem credible but 11 months only and still dependent on single funder

guide to participating from home, watch:

- vix futures, front month has only hit 40 3x in 20 years, tho for sustained period starting late 2007 when the contracts were a lot lower volume

- /zb /zn futures contracts, BBB OAS spread on St. Louis fed website,

- credit default swaps, i can't find free public website

- some people say you can get insight from polymarket, other betting sites

- GDP now on Atlanta Fed website, note gold haircut

- other sites monitor options' large buys, skews and dex/gex (gamma exposure) on indexes, futures and single stocks but those sites are $ subscription

If you like speculating there's lots of volatility going on. Shorting trump coin might be appropriate. Falling about 30% a month on recent trends, though with lots of ups and downs.

Don't give up on mainline, but branch out to small/medium bus ops. You have to go to as many meetups as you can, perfect your elevator pitch, make github and online presence look nice, etc.

One niche, there's lots of people looking for help coding stock/futures trading apps in sierra chart, ninja and multi trader, etc. These are in c++, c#/framework, python, mostly.

On the latter, work your network, seek out busines owners/managers who are in need of IT/web/database/email list type work and have people vouch for your tech cred/integrity (very important)

ML texts often have refresher appendixes/intro chapters:

For anybody that's at some stage of keeb curious but overwhelmed by info, look up keyboard meetups in reddit subs /r/MechanicalKeyboards/ and /r/ErgoMechKeyboards/

It's just a lot easier to ask a live human

you can also try a decent number at best buy and maybe other specialty retailers but:

with the gaming oriented brands you often have to turn down RGB effects to make them tolerable, certain brands have switches that actuate high in the range of motion and it's often not easy to tell if the switches are soldered or have swappable sockets

also the latest/greatest in split ergos seem to be the svalboards, ordered a 1 finger cluster to try but have no info about them yet
