So, no ruling about the legality (in Belgium) of the website itself. It's just that the case concerns 2011-2013 and there's no evidence the founders were involved with the site after 2006.

Does this change anything about Gottfried rotting away in solitary?


No. He's in Denmark where he was recently convicted of breaking into a government contractor's system.

I don't think he's actually in solitary anymore, though, but he's still locked up.


Does anyone know more about this case. Did the state bring any evidence they were involved in site. Did this case get thrown out before trial? Torrentfreak is a little bias as they don't think torrent hosting sites are wrong.


Do public sites even host torrents? I thought they just serve numbers into the DHT?
