This is a generational thing. Yes, the developers who go through the pain may fight the tools that remove it for others. The next generation of programmers won't have our baggage though. They won't have any problems using modern tools, just so long as they implement their vision quickly in most accessible way.

Let's keep creating better ways to program. Future generations will be thankful for it, even if today's developers can't appreciate it.
