The problem: If you're posting a link to a site that doesn't have your own Google Analytics code on it, you can't track clicks on to that link within Google Analytics.

Solution: Shorten the URL with moo.bz and provide your google analytics universal GA code (this only works with Google Universal Analytics accounts), and every visit to the shortened link will show up in Google Analytics Event Tracking.
