Are you being facetious? Obviously private schools are an option. Along with just not having kids, or moving when the oldest closes in on the big 05.

We live in Hayes Valley right now and public schools in SF aren't all that better than those in Oakland. When we have kids, we'll optimize for that.

I did not mean to. I didn't see much if any consideration about schools in the article and maybe jumped the gun assuming the schools selection is better in SF. Although not as flashy, the peninsula is a great compromise.
