I generally agree, though I encourage more open source devs to consider commercial licensing. Commercial licenses are not incompatible with open source.

For example, you can GPL code, and if a company does want to use it privately, sell them a license for their own private use.

I never understood why the open source ecosystem consolidated onto GPL-ish and MIT.
