Aren't GPS satellites geostationary? And aren't geostationary orbits like 100 times further out than LEO?

No, more like 16,500 (about 10x LEO if you consider leo to be 100 - 200 per NASA's definition). View of debris from GEO which also includes the GPS orbits :
