Tim Berners-Lee Invented the World Wide Web. Now He Wants to Save It (newyorker.com)

I figured I would take another crack at understanding what SOLID and Inrupt is about while reading this. I went to their website and apparently they now offer "Agentic Wallets."

For fucks sake.

This reads like someone desperately sticking band-aids onto a raging dumpster fire.

It certainly doesn't help that the journalist wrote more words on kayaking than trying to get Berners-Lee to square the circle of wanting data sovereignty AND as much data on the web as possible.

The death of Google Reader killed the Web of the past.

A reminder that Tim sold out his own creation to DRM. I trust Tim to "save the web" about as far as I could throw him with one hand.
