I don't think there's any comparison. The parents could point at some mass production and decide it wasn't to their taste, but ultimately they lived in the same world. Our kids are watching amateur productions they find on YouTube. You can tell the production quality is lower from things like what the images look like, terrible planning, bad sound, and so on.



Spontaneous noise sounds pretty punk rock to me.
