I Tested the AI That Calls Your Elderly Parents If You Can't Be Bothered (404media.co)

If I were the elderly parent, being on the receiving end of this would be the worst thing. Certainly worse than being ignored by my children. Them using this says that they weren't just too busy to think of you, but they had time to think of you and consider you a burden to be foisted off on a machine.

Talk about adding insult to injury.

We truly do seem to be living in the worst possible future.

Anyone who uses such a thing to "communicate" with mom & pop fully deserves to be disowned. This is even worse than just not calling at all.. Grotesque

This is somehow even worse than ignoring them...

This is my thought, too. Horrendously dystopian.

I can't see how it would work well either, unless I gave the AI a complete biography of my life.

Cool so, a bunch of data that shows:

1) elderly people 2) who regularly chat with an AI clone of their child 3) summaries of conversations

Definitely not a hugely attractive target for the worst kinds of scammers
