Are you sure? I think the GSM triangulation thing is mostly in the baseband modem. GraphrneOS doesn't do the lookup thing, but it don't stop the modem sending the timing information




GrapheneOS does support E911, but not the recently added Android Emergency Location service which is not standard and not required for this. See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43669766. Triangulation via the cellular network is an older method for when E911 isn't supported.
