I don't think Open AI is planning on relying on consumer adoption to drive revenue. It's more like a big free or low-cost sandbox.
Enterprise customers will all pay for the privacy included in the business offerings. That cost has got to track usage pretty closely since there is a real, runtime compute cost with LLM queries and agents that we did not have with the previous generation of write-once-run-endlessly software.
