It really just means your data is stored unencrypted, so anybody that has access to Apple's servers can access your data. I don't believe any government has open access to Apple's servers, but they can get a warrant.

I just realized ADP is not same as Lockdown mode. which Apple mentioned that only people that are likely to be targets need to turn on.

Now I don't see any reason why I shouldn't turn ADP on. Turning on now.
