Like, leading everyone down the BDE rabbit hole and leaving them there; QuickReport, the list goes on and on. From here it looks like that tradition is still going strong, not that I care anymore.

Reminds me of Unity. Maybe it's a curse of all technical companies when they stopped to improve the core of their core product but instead flow horizontally.
