For more and more people, watching TV means watching YouTube.
One of those. I've stopped entirely watching regular TV. I watch some movies and a show now and then, but mostly YouTube creators.
For a while I've felt modern TV shows make me feel dumber. Editing is swift, there's no time to think. The same topics get repeated to death.
Compare that to say this[1] BBC Horizon episode on color theory. Calm, gives you time to think, interesting topic that's not widely discussed in regular circles, clear and illustrative demonstrations.
Some of the channels I watch are mostly for entertainment. But most are more informative in one way or another.
