If you think that Go's creators "didn't know what they were doing" then I sure hope you exclusively run Windows, and not Unix, UTF-8, nor use anything else they had a hand in, like the JVM or the C programming language. In fact, you might as well just stop using computers considering how important Go's creators are in this industry. Clearly if they can't be trusted, nothing can.
