For that amount of money, the author could have just bought one and run f3 [0] on it instead of FUD-ing about "suspicious"-ness

It doesn't seem that cheap. Microcenter in-store will sell a 32gb microSD card for $4.

I remember the joy when the new RadioShack catalogue would arrive, like the joy when the new HeathKit and EICO catalogues came:

By the mid-1980s it seemed like every RadioShack store had just hollowed out their geek hardware sections and were left to run ''Top Gun'' on VCR endless loop. This latest RadioShack business just seems sad.


I remember paying $200 (in adjusted 2025 dollars) for a 32GB USB thumb drive.
