The implicit message there is that you need an AI assistant to help lie to people, fake your work output, and generate deliberate bullshit instead of due-diligence.
I keep imagining a satirical extension of this trend, where the LLM product is pitched as helping absentee parents falsify sincere congratulations to their emotionally-neglected child for their role in a school play the parent never attended or saw.
As time goes on, I fear it will stop being satire.
