Ultrawide 5K2K is a great sweet spot, at least for what I do, which includes a bit of everything. I never liked dual monitors with a split in the middle. Ultrawides solve that.



Which brands/model consist of your setup? Did this turn out to be more affordable or less than expected. Thanks upfront.


I have a 34" from LG, but I absolutely CANNOT recommend the brand. It's been unreliable, and is currently being repaired after the panel died on me. However, when it worked, it was an absolute game changer.

I have a feeling they might not be able to repair it, in which case I am getting a Lenovo P40w-20 which is currently on sale for $1099 at Walmart for some reason.

But yeah, we're talking $1k+, if you want both high-resolution (5K) and ultrawide. If you're ok with good old 16:10 aspect ratio, then a 5K monitor is much more affordable.
