How could one use a site without accepting its terms of service? Notably Hacker News has almost that exact same language with a 14-day notice period. YouTube, Twitter, Wordpress.com, etc. all have similar language. What is your problem with it?

I mean, they have the right to be opposed to this practice even though it is standard, right?

I myself am opposed to it too, and I believe the more people stand up to it, the merrier.
