> Furthermore, the slide above shows that Arm's market share has increased across the board over the last two years. With that in mind, I think the company is well positioned to continue benefiting from new chip-based devices, since Arm's IP is already leveraged across so many devices around the world.

> For this reason, I see Arm as less vulnerable to competitive forces in the chip space compared to peers such as Nvidia.

Tell me you don't work in tech without telling me you don't work in tech.

Nvidia tried to buy ARM because they had synergistic potential. ARM's default Cortex lineup of cores was unapologetically awful, and Nvidia had the opportunity to incentivize ARM's stock designs to compete against Apple/Nuvia/Samsung/Qualcomm again. ARM would have likely accepted the deal if there was potential for it to go through, because right now they're playing second-fiddle to their own shareholders. Their arms are tied by the bevvy of interests in their non-competition.

ARM as IP is valuable. ARM as a competitive company producing industry-leading and competitive designs is laughably impotent. They are the business definition of a pushover, and Nvidia's acquisition was their escape route to being an engineering org instead of a law firm.

kinda makes sense. you can re use the hardware you trained the model on, but the models leverage and value is higher?
