That link contains good info but... i feel like its a bit too biased when they also happen to sell what they're preaching.
I'd say the best solution is to reduce sugar consumption and just eat foods with a lot of collagen, such as fish, bone broth, beef, eggs - these foods also happen to be generally high in nutrition per gram, so you can eat less overall, and still get the nutrients you need. (without sponsoring some supplement manufacturer)
like with eggs, natures vitamin supplement... that white "skin" between the egg white and the shell, is pure collagen.
