His views are linked within the very post you read. I would tend to agree with you if they weren't exposed right in your very face on valuable technical content.
The MAGA author is transphobic and accuses an MSFT VP of violence, with no proof other than the author's claims.

It's not just an 'extraneous rant' as you phrase it. It is full on hate speech. The man _hates_ trans individuals. This speaks volumes to the type of monster this person is.
