His views are linked within the very post you read. I would tend to agree with you if they weren't exposed right in your very face on valuable technical content.
The MAGA author is transphobic and accuses an MSFT VP of violence, with no proof other than the author's claims.
The "Fun Side Note #2" paragraph? Doesn't really matter does it, just ignore if it you're not interested. That's what I did. Clicked the link, realised it was some extraneous rant, went back and read the rest of this article.
It's not just an 'extraneous rant' as you phrase it. It is full on hate speech. The man _hates_ trans individuals. This speaks volumes to the type of monster this person is.
Okay, so what? Whatever his views may be on that topic, it's not relevant to his article on the MS-DOS source release. If you don't like it, don't read it.
