Hypothesis: postmodernism = decadence. When our ever growing set of tools (ideas, techs, powers, knowledges..) correspond to a ever shrinking set of highers things to apply on (goals, directions..), so without a true significance every tools work on what find around, often the tool (power) itself, withou a wider plan/wisdom every tool risk to become the goal itself.
