It's getting hard to use and recommend Firefox, I'm afraid for the free web (ntietz.com)

I use Firefox for most things but Chrome with YouTube because Google degrades service for Firefox users. I run into sites occasionally that don’t run in Firefox, I am finding more and more these days.

Bit of a weird call-to-inaction here.

They want the new CEO to succeed, so that Firefox can succeed, so the open web can succeed but apparently, that involves Firefox never having any bugs in their bleeding edge channels on linux distributions used mainly by software developers, because that makes them unreccomendable to anyone.

So basically we're doomed to a non-open web, and being melodramatic about that helps in some way?

No, it’s simply a tragedy. Together we lament.

Exactly. I’m not a web dev dev and don’t run the dev channel builds. I don’t remember the last time Firefox didn’t work for me.
