Yeah, I blame those employers too. Last year I was job hunting and got declined a position as I only have 10 years of experience with JavaEE, but no job experience with Spring Boot (only a few hobby projects). That’s how narrow minded these guys are.


In the US, this is usually an attempt to get state and local governments to pay to train people for jobs, so employers don't have to. I don't know anything about EU schools, so could someone say if this is the same?


EU employers don't have competitive salaries, pay up or shut up.


Are you saying that people are hiding away waiting for more money?
