"Undocumented" is a euphemism coined by leftists to try to make illegal status seem trivial and unimportant.
Searching that Title 8 returns hits on constructs such as "aliens who illegally" but NO hits on "illegal alien".
Undocumented aliens are not always illegally within the USofA, they have alien status and lack documentation. They may or may not have entered illegally, they may have applied for recognition and been passed in.
What is really dystopian is focusing blame onto immigrants instead of the economic and political elite.
