I will resort to Reader on Safari. Perhaps other reader extensions will let you copy.

Or turn off Javascript. I keep a window open on the desktop to toggle this. Haven’t figured a shortcut on ios to make this easier.

Ios keeps changing anyway.

I got Sheriff, Userscripts and StopTheScript (all free, IIRC) but haven’t exercised them.

Can’t speak for other browsers and platforms, since an extension is required, or disabling javascript.
