Sort of like FORTRAN and COBOL on Mainframes was. Still in use but old standards.

Old tech doesn't die, it just gets reused. Look at Commodore 64 systems being recapped and sold on eBay. Can even run in an emulator if need be.

Heck I got Windows 95 in a VM, runs really fast on modern hardware.
