You speak as if criminals don’t already exist; as if it isn’t currently possible to rob a house, or someone on the street, or a car stopped at traffic lights.

If someone wants to commit a robbery there are already plenty of ways they can do it. I fail to see how autonomous vehicles would increase the rate of crime.

I think it will politely park and let you be robbed, kidnapped, or worse.


It's one thing to rob someone, it's quite another to ask for five bob to get out of the way.


People will defend themselves. Robots taking care of people won't


No they don’t speak that way. You’re interpreting that to bolster your point, which is true.

You can’t stop/rob a robocar if they don’t exist. Of course you can already rob something else.
