It is a start. But since both the administration and social media companies (for the most part) appear to favor censorship, it will be difficult to pursue this long-term.
Secondly this news item has been posted to Hacker News at least 5 times in the last few days to, at best, lacklustre response. Perhaps the various items should be merged and censored heavily for content (just joking)8-)).

Looking at this conversation makes me believe the US won’t exist as we know it in 50 or 100 years. We’re too far gone as a country, and there is no going back.
