suckless is some hacker news nerd bait, it explains the seductive aesthetic of computer environments where every cruft is removed and your computer has exactly the things that are useful to you in it. also some of the main people in it are like literally self proclaimed nazis and fascists which i mean is also kind of on-brand for hacker news nerd bait but also it's not great.
