David Graeber was such an interestingly polarizing personality, since the people who like him and the people who dislike him seem at times to fall under politically unconventional lines - or maybe the polarization isn't about politics at all. Some people react to public figures based on those figures' strong personalities, but it's surprising that that might be the case with Graeber, since he was pretty damn mild mannered and affable when one actually observed him in interviews.
