Back-to-office also helps management sleep better at night. Less risk of an employee getting paid for more work than they did. Or leaving value on the table because of a missed water cooler convo. Probably. It sounds good, at least. To management.
If a company is seeing poor results with WFH, it makes you wonder if there might not be a management problem.
