I would use ChatGPT more in my day-to-day programming tasks but I don't really feel comfortable putting proprietary code into an OpenAI-owned service.

This. My employer would have a conniption if I shared information with ChatGPT, to the extent that personally paying for and using it for work would be a firing offense.
