What an insane take. Different teams use different tools, and a team may or may not have time to bring someone up to speed on a tool they haven't used.

Listing git isn't a statement that it's your "competitive advantage". It's simply stating that you have experience with it.




Came here to post something similar. While I agree that if you're going for a senior position its probably less relevant, there are lots of junior and mid level riles that have various "hurdle requirements" like this. As a result, listing them on the resume is a way to say "yeah, I can do that"
