ChatGPT to be offered via OpenAI API and Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service soon (twitter.com/openai)

I had understood that ChatGPT was "just" GPT-3 Davinchi with a prompt. Isn't GPT-3 already available on the API.

ChatGPT also has a fine-tuning step, fine-tuned with a technique you aren't allowed to use using data you don't have available.

ChatGPt is said to be GPT3.5 with the real leap to GPT 4 coming

I wonder how long until responses to questions involving products and/or services (let alone politics) become subtly polluted by advertising. Will they resist the temptation? With everything closed, from the algorithms down to the data the AI works on, there's no way to tell.

Q1 financial reports: Azure gets double AWS's revenue growth.

Whilst ChatGPT is built on a fine-tuned GPT-3.5 model, I was wondering whether it will be possible to further fine-tune ChatGPT models on Azure. There are quite a few ideas I would like to tinker with.

> a joke

More like a thought-terminating false dichotomy that only serves to quash healthy discussion.

Let's leave these "jokes" on Reddit or Twitter where they belong please.

I see you want to exclude me like hitler did with the jews

I'm expecting lots of new startups to capitalize on this, great news for Azure

How would businesses built on top of this charge users? Per token?

Probably most businesses will not charge any interaction with ChatGPT per se. They will either bill more abstract services (e.g., booking service, where ChatGPT will be hiding under hood of a support agent) or down to earth goods.
