If you are referring to current twitter moderation, this characterization is untrue. Twitter is currently banning, permanently banning (and then unbanning) accounts that did not broke the law at all.

If that were true, Kanye wouldn't have been banned. It's stupid and evil to post Nazi and swastika shit, but it is certainly legal.

Heh I think I wrote the comment in a bad way. This is what I meant; Elon said anything within the law and then just weeks in banned Kanye.
An example of is word not being worth much.
