> So if you have a problem that needs solving and are inclined to solve it yourself, ask these three questions: > Do you enjoy doing it? > No? Find someone who enjoys doing it.

Although I generally agree with the author's position on tackling problems that you are both excited about and are good at solving, sometimes the buck stops at you. Say you need to broach a difficult conversation with a direct report or colleague. In this case, even if there's someone else who might enjoy carrying out conflict resolution, you must be the one who handles the situation.

Took me a minute to realize this post appears to be the author's notes from reading the book Who Not How[0].

"Some perspectives to help internalize this idea

* If you have enough money, you don't have a problem. (Simply find someone who can solve that problem for you)

* Operate with an abundance mindset (which emphasizes collaboration, not competition)

* Don't have a cost mindset, consider your costs as investments for a better future for yourself

* Always be the buyer - if you can't, don't do the deal "

Step 1. Have a lot of money

Step 2. Have a lot of money

Step 3. Have enough money that you don't have to worry about running out of money

Step 4. If you don't have enough money, repeat steps 1-3
