Yep I have a similar preference: React/Next.js + Vercel + Cloudflare (for CDN and image resizing) for web and React Native/Expo for mobile.

The combination of PlanetScale for the database & TypeScript Prisma for ORM is really a joy to work with.

Hm... Next.js at the core or any web or mobile app? Interesting. What the best things about PlanetScale to you?

There’s not a perfect solution yet (I want someone to release preview DBs) but I currently use Supabase since they provide a regular Postgres instance with a connection pooler out of the box.
