perhaps this story is somewhat relevant in a meta sense regarding the ethics and viability of robotics, but more generally, I'm so, so sick of British news outlets - from the Daily Mail to the BBC - running out of local news and deciding that American news is equally relevant, and further than that, titling the articles as if they were local news
why should I have to know every time there's a mildly notable political event, or murder, or celebrity occurrence, thousands of miles away in a completely different country?
Isn’t this the same robot where the indoor navigation is so bad that it ended up throw itself into a indoor fountain?
Edit: Just noticed they mentioned it on the bottom of the article. Didn’t know they hit a kid too in a mall…
