What's a better alternative as a freelance developer who's only interested in remote work, residing in the EU with a company registered in Germany for 18 years?

Isn't upwork requiring would be developers to install spyware on their computers to "verify work"?

Any half decent developer has better options than that then.

on linkedin its like 60-70% those outsourcing companies now

I would love to find that too. I was wondering why most of the the jobs are posted by third parties. Anyone have insights?

Feels like no one wants to put the effort into making a high quality hiring practice and culture, just outsourcing it... cause time and excess capital?
