Only other source that exports neon is the Ukraine which isn't exporting it right now.


Neon gas is extracted from the atmosphere via factional distillation. There is location specific requirement such as access to mineral deposits required. There are many other companies that similar distillation. It should be fairly straightforward for them to re-tool to the specs needed for chip manufacturing. I don't think this is going to be a long term problem.


It's already a problem, and I suspect it will be a long term problem. Noble gases are made as a byproduct of steel production, as well. I would say, as an attempt at debunking and soothing, that this was pretty poor and two more weeks of OCAA training minimum is needed.
