AMD Underwhelms at Computex (semiaccurate.com)

From the article: "the upcoming Ryzen 7000 line and likely Mendocino are not safe to use. They all contain a remotely exploitable hardware backdoor that can not be turned off"

Does anybody know what he's referring to? Something in the PSP? How is this remotely exploitable -- do they have a built-in BMC or something that listens on the network?

He's referring to Microsoft Pluton, having complained about it before: https://semiaccurate.com/2022/01/18/amds-new-cpus-may-be-saf.... It seems weird to be triggered by Pluton specifically, while PSP and ME are a thing for many years though (and probably have greater access to the system).

Thank you!
