fortunately i am at a place in my career where i can safely count that as a bullet dodged and move on. for my part i make a particular point of ignoring irrelevant spelling and grammatical errors (especially the latter, because not only does it discriminate against non-native speakers, but even among native speakers "correct grammar" depends strongly on your primary dialect of english, which may not be the same as that of the candidate), as long as the resume itself is clear and unambiguous.
