Doesn’t sound like
> no longer pressing for Nato membership for Ukraine
That’s the narrative from whomever published that article. I really don’t know how to write it down clearer for you. He said that he understood that nato is not ready to accept Ukraine, he didn’t say that he’s no longer pressing.
Regarding two separatist regions. There is no nod to anything. He said „I’m opened for discussion”. He didn’t say „I agree”.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is no longer pressing for Nato membership for Ukraine, a delicate issue that was one of Russia's stated reasons for invading its pro-Western neighbour.
NATO already made it clear Ukraine has no future and Zelensky is set to negotiate on Donbass today.
Emotion clouds your assessment of reality. I get you are upset but engaging me in an endless circular argument because you can't accept Zelensky's own words is not going to change the situation.
Sure, go ahead and accuse me of being a pro-Russian troll, for literally saying facts, that NATO will not allow Ukraine in.

No, he didn’t say what the narrative from that source claims.
