OK, so "travel" is not the cure. Money is, so that you don't need to work - and friends who also have money and do interesting stuff (not necessarily leisuring, they could do whatever, from politics and art to crafts, they're just not confined by 9-to-5 and bosses).

But perhaps even more problematic is the idea of a "cure for the mind". Because you can be even the latter and be miserable.
