Meat eating link to inflammation, worse gut health and MS (sydney.edu.au)

What the headline of the article didn't include: Eating more meat, having less of a carbohydrate-digesting bacteria in the gut, and more pro-inflammatory immune cells in the blood all link with multiple sclerosis (MS), an international team has found.

When I only eat meat, my inflammation is at an all time low.

Plenty of personal variations; when I changed my diet to mostly meat and veg for about a year, I stopped the experiment because my joints got stiff and painful, and because it is not tenable at scale ecologically. Now I eat more like a chimp; mostly plants, with meat as a treat. Eating less and going without calories for longer helps reduce my inflammation.

How do you know? Did you get CT scans every month when eating and when not eating only meat? There are a bunch of things in your body that can be inflamed without you knowing anything about it unless you get scans and other tests.

Chronic + constant sinusitis and bloating vanishes.
